Diary of a military doctor

Viktor Cherniyenko was born in 1987 in Vinnytsia region into a family of teachers. After graduating from the M. I. Pirogov University, having received a doctor's degree, he voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and entered the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy in Kyiv, majoring in surgery. After graduating from the university, he went to war in eastern Ukraine in 2014, at the call of his heart, to defend his country from the aggressor. By the will of fate, he found himself in the hell of terrible battles near Ilovaisk. He currently works as an oncologist in Kyiv. In 2018, Folio Publishing House published V. Cherniyenko's book "God, Protect Ukraine!".

"Diary of a Military Doctor" is an autobiographical book, it is a young surgeon's notes about the war, or rather, about the terrible events of the Ilovaisk Cauldron of 2014, which became the greatest tragedy of the Ukrainian army during the war in Donbas.

This is a book about ordinary Ukrainian boys who found themselves in the war, about their courage, incredible heroism and humanity in defending their Motherland.
