Roma is a novice author whose manuscript is destined for success. However, no publishing house has been able to see the potential of the text, which consists of 70% quotes from Tolkien. So Roma and his friend Barik decide to publish the book themselves.
Thus is born the legend of the terminally ill author and his debut — and last — novel. The friends dive headlong into all the intricacies of samizdat: they look for cheaper places to print, promote social networks, organize a tour, send out pre-orders. And they lie, lie, lie… And Roma also falls in love with his own reader.
Where will the lies lead the friends and how will they have to pay for this crazy adventure?
