The works of the collection were written in the 1920s and 1930s, most of them depict the contemporary reality or the recent past. Here we see exotic topography, exotic philosophy and eccentric characters immersed in the problems of being and sacramental quests. The plot of the stories becomes secondary and dissolves into an infinity of images, bright and tragic, through which the features of the sinister age appear, but their hero exists apart from war and revolution. And the writer sees love as a unique force capable of changing the world
