These reports, with one exception, were written in 2020-2021. They talk about Sieverodonetsk before the full-scale invasion of Russia. The reader will learn about what the city of Luhansk Oblast, a city on the border of Donbas and Slobozhan Oblast, was like and lived until 2022; how it transitioned from the identity of a Soviet industrial city to realizing itself as a city in independent Ukraine. Some reports tell about the people of this city, others - about locations, and others - about important events for Sieverodonetsk, in particular, in 2004 and 2014. The author was born and raised in Sieverodonetsk, so in this book, she balances report writing and a subjective, sometimes ironic, view of the city.
