The second volume of Lem's Six Books can be divided into two parts. The first includes detective novels with elements of science fiction, in which chance, coincidence, and fate play a key role ("Investigation", "Cathar"), and a science fiction novel with elements of detective fiction - a grotesque satirical work about totalitarianism ("Diary Found in the Bathtub"). The second part of the volume contains scripts for small satirical and humorous radio and television plays (of course, on serious and important topics) - both independent ("Crawling", "The Faithful Robot", "Moonlit Night") and united by one theme (transplantology: "Do You Exist, Mr. Jones?", "Puff Pie") or one hero (four plays about the inventor Professor Tarantogu).
