The action of Olexander Krasovytsky's new novel "Today" takes place in our days. The reader recognizes real characters and events that took place quite recently. The story is told on behalf of several heroes who would hardly have crossed paths in ordinary life if the Kremlin dictator and his entourage had not started a crazy redivision of the world. The main intrigue of the novel is the existence of a secret "factory of Putin's doubles", which was originally conceived to replace the Russian president during meetings with foreign leaders and mass events. Soon the doubles become toys in the hands of Russian politicians. Sooner or later, the reader asks himself the question: is Putin still alive?
