Jack Steen's book "Confessions from a Madhouse" has four "confessions" of four patients of a psychiatric hospital, where the hero of the book, a nurse, works, and who tells stories specifically for readers so that they can understand the whole tragedy of these unfortunate people.
One has an interesting "appetite". Another is Ken, who will do anything for his Barbie to make her happy. Another patient is a nanny, but not the one you would want to see around your children. The last character is the sweetest soul you have ever met, but listening to her story will be morally difficult for you despite her sweet voice.
This book contains foul language. And some stories may become an impetus for some actions that you will find difficult to restrain on your own, because these are confessions of serial killers, mentally ill people, psychopaths, whose souls are full of pain.
