Kate on the Case

"A Case for Kate" is a witty detective story about a girl who dreams of becoming a reporter. Together with her pet, the talkative mouse Rupert, she never misses an opportunity to solve a mystery.

Together with her father, several extravagant passengers and a clumsy trainee conductor, Kate embarks on a week-long train journey all the way to the Arctic. Her mother, a scientist, works at a research station there. But as soon as the train leaves, some of the passengers' valuable (but not very) belongings disappear. Armed with the "Special Correspondent's Handbook", Kate gets down to business. But she won't be able to unravel it quickly - certainly not after a series of unexpected discoveries!
