The second volume of the collection edition Contemporary Ukrainian Prose & Poetry. It includes new works by sixteen prominent writers. The book is bilingual: all texts were written specifically for Vogue Ukraine in Ukrainian and translated into English.
The book features the voices of contemporary Ukrainian prose writers and poets — already recognized artists and new literary stars. These include Serhiy Zhadan, Yuriy Izdryk, Sophia Andrukhovych, Iryna Slavinska, Haska Shyyan, Irena Karpa, Halyna Kruk, Artem Chekh, Lyubko Deresh, Anna Gruver, Artur Dron, Karina Savaryna, Roman Malynovskyi, Yevheniia Podobna, Roman Holubovskyi, and Misha Honcharenko.
The sensual illustrations for the book were created by artist Mykola Tolmachev: his watercolors complement the authors’ texts and at the same time stand as self-sufficient artistic works.
