A priest must follow certain rules: he cannot marry, he cannot leave his flock, he cannot betray the sacred trust of his parish.

Tyler Bell followed these commandments for three years, devoting himself to his ministry, until Poppy Danforth came to him for confession. Her voice filled his thoughts and deprived him of peace.
