The World for Frau Evers. Olha Merts

Franz Evers is a World War I veteran, a former military doctor, and a hopeless morphine addict living on the margins of society. He pawns the remnants of his past life and drowns in bizarre dreams, while the mark rate changes daily and political strife rages outside his walls. A meeting with a mysterious raven, the guardian of the memory of humanity, opens his eyes: the atmosphere of despair and madness that devours the city is a manifestation of much more sinister forces capable of tearing apart the thin line of existence itself. Myths and fairy tales come to life, time and space turn into a battlefield with primordial darkness, but to enter it, Franz must overcome the darkness within himself and destroy his own demons.
