The It Girl

April Clarke-Cliveden is the first person Anna Jones met at Oxford. This cheerful, bright, sometimes caustic, but somehow “the same” girl quickly pulled Anna into her bright orbit. Already in the first semester, the non-spill neighbors enjoyed the company of loyal friends - Will, Hugh, Ryan and Emily. And at the end of the second, April died.

Now, ten years later, when Anna and Will are expecting their first child, the man accused of April’s murder, former Oxford duty officer John Neville, dies in prison. At first, Anna feels relieved: she can finally leave the past behind. But soon everything changes: a young journalist bursts into her life and provides new evidence of Neville’s innocence. As she reunites with old friends and delves deeper into the mystery of April's murder, Anna realizes that the people she seemed to know well have something to hide... And one of them is the killer.
