T. Danylych's canvases often resemble the limited space of a theater stage, where the artist simultaneously depicts numerous actions, weaves a bizarre plot weave. The living space of his heroes, their actions and thoughts become open, sincere. Plot is one of the defining features of the artist's work.
Lemkos love to joke, praising their work. Under the brush of T. Danylych, this feature creates a kind of mythologeme. The artist often resorts to the technique of hyperbolization. Thus, the artist transforms the well-known Christian symbol of the rooster into an archetypal image, the rooster is a talisman of the village farm, and at the same time a symbol of the inexorable passage of time. “Whoever gets up with the rooster, God gives him” is one of the favorite Lemko proverbs. The picturesque series with white, red, red and yellow roosters constitutes a significant page in the artist's creative output.
