Tartuffe

Tartuffe is a swindler and a deceiver, a hypocritical priest with a mask of charity, who rubs himself into the trust of the stately host Orgon, staying for a feast. The whole family tries in vain to bring Tartuffe to light and show the true essence of the head of the family, but Orgon sincerely believes in the nobility, modesty and selflessness of the guest. Moliere's witty and sharp comedy is one of the most outstanding plays in the history of theater, which has not left the world stage for more than 360 years.
