Under the cover of this book, three works of the famous German playwright Bertolt Brecht are collected: "Fear and the poor in the Third Empire", "The good man from Sichuan" and "Mr. Puntila and his servant Matti". Each of these works is separate, but all of them were included in the "golden fund" of German-language literature of the 20th century, even though they were written in exile when the author had to flee Germany after the Nazis came to power and "changed countries more often than shoes."
