Yuki Midorikawa is a famous Japanese manga artist. She was born on August 23, 1976 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She began drawing as a child, and took her first professional steps in the 1990s, creating short stories for various manga magazines.
Midorikawa's real popularity came with the series "Into the Forest of Fireflies Light" ("Hotarubi no Mori e"), which combines gentle romance with philosophical reflections on life, loss and the fragility of human relationships.
