Greek lessons

They met in a university classroom: he teaches Greek, she is a student. He is slowly going blind. She has lost her voice, but she tries to speak. They look at each other with curiosity.

Soon both realize that they share a deeper pain. She lost both her mother and the custody of her eight-year-old son a few months ago. He still hurts from growing up between Korea and Germany, living in a state of disunity between two cultures and languages, and in fear of losing his independence.

Gradually they grow closer - their voices intertwine with amazing beauty as they both move from darkness to light, from silence to breath and expression.
