She ran away from her wedding to finally find true love.
Naomi runs away from her wedding to her twin sister Tina (who has never been well-behaved) in Knockmouth, Virginia. Disputes are resolved there in the old-fashioned way: with fists and beer. But almost immediately it becomes clear that the sister has not changed a bit: Tina takes Naomi's money and car, and instead leaves her with her daughter. And now Naomi is stuck here with her eleven-year-old niece, with no car, no job, no home, no plan, and no ability to leave this town.
But on her way, Knox comes across. This bearded hairdresser hates drama and romance. It is best for him to live alone, and he does not need any relationships. However, his worldview is changed by Naomi, whose life is crumbling before his eyes.
