Venus in fur

The story "Venus in Fur" is the most famous work of the Austrian writer Leopold von Sacher-Masoch. In fact, this is the first literary attempt to understand masochism as a social and sexual-psychological phenomenon. The author claimed that the work had an autobiographical canvas under it and was written under the impression of a love story he had with Fanny von Pistor.
