The collection of poems "Freedom" is the second book by Tatyana Vlasova and the first to be published after the full-scale invasion. It is filled with chronicles of the present: the author calls things by their names, searches for and finds formulas for new emotions, feelings and meanings, freely diving into them with all her senses.
The book contains the voices of Ukrainians, among whom the reader may recognize her own. Everyone experiences the war in their own way. But everyone is united by the will that leads through darkness and loss - to freedom, to liberty.
Tatyana Vlasova's word is hot and stinging, ruthless and frank. It knows where it hurts the most, and boldly goes to meet the pain. It seeks a new harmony in this new world, sometimes blurring the line between poetry and prose. It lives like never before. The war did not deprive him of love and tenderness - they seemed to have become even more, but now they sound different.
"Freedom" is a look at war straight in the eye. Freedom is the path to freedom.
