This collection explores the question of who the poet is and how his role relates to the time in which he lives, where he can find his place in the maelstrom of historical events that are overwhelming in their scale. The gigantic flow of time, the colossalness of world images, the inexorable progress of the present against the backdrop of instant content and post-Bayraktarism. Where in all this is the author, who for millennia has been desperately trying to seize the moment, to understand at least something and to make this knowledge clearer with the help of metaphor? This task is difficult in itself, but it becomes even more difficult — and more important — when your metaphor is being tried to be buried in the ground every day.
