Mykhailyna Kotsiubynska - who is she? What is known about her, besides her origin - the niece of the author of "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors", named after her uncle? However, it was this woman who became a support for those who formed the sixties, and later the dissident movement.

A literary critic and translator. An intellectual and a scientist. A friend of Svitlychny, Stus, Horska, Sverstiuk. One of the first members of the legendary Creative Youth Club. At the premiere of Sergei Paradzhanov's film at the Ukraina cinema, at the call of Chornovol - "Who is against tyranny - stand up!" - she stood up with her comrades. For this, as well as for further intransigence to the system, she quickly had to pay: expulsion from the party, loss of work and the right to a profession.
