State of war

This anthology contains the texts of famous Ukrainian authors after the start of the full-scale war. Serhii Zhadan, Oksana Zabuzhko, Yuriy Andruhovych, Andriy Lyubka, Taras Prokhasko, Oleksandr Mykhed, Artem Cheh, Iryna Tsylyk... And this is not even half of all the writers who shared their despair and pain, their desire and fear, their optimism and despair on the pages of this anthology.

The foreword to this collection was written by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - General Valery Zaluzhny:

"Martial law is not only the legal regime of the state's existence during the war. It is also a reminder of the Cossack state - a military camp that actually became a fortress during wars and battles. Last year, our entire country turned into such a state - an impregnable fortress, over I am sure that thanks to the courage and professionalism of Ukrainian soldiers, thanks to the unity of Ukrainian society and with the friendly support of our partners in the world, this fortress will regain all its territories.
