Nadiia Hlushkova is an Odesa journalist and poet. Her debut collection is about losses and discoveries, about the impenetrable darkness and light within each of us. In the web of times of the hybrid and full-scale stages of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Nadiya searches for the fire of her generation, speaks about what is often silenced, tells about territories and times. The voices of heroes — known and unknown — intertwine into a chorus of generations, an anxious backpack becomes a home, and death — death retreats. “After all, light is stronger than darkness, even — the memory of light.”
