The catalog of the collection presents a large collection (over 300 patterns) of embroideries that were popular among the elite of Ukrainian society in the 17th - 18th centuries. Embroidery with floral ornaments was very popular, which was done on the useful things of Cossack elders - bed sheets, pillowcases, tablecloths, towels, clothes. In the introductory article, you can learn about the color scheme of embroidery, the most common ornamental schemes, and the chronological sequence of the placement of images allows you to follow the evolution of ornaments throughout the century. The basis of the album is the collection of the Chernihiv Historical Museum named after V. Tarnovskyi.
