The second volume of memoirs by the prominent Ukrainian scientist Yuriy Shevelev (Sherekh) tells about his life in post-war Europe: Germany and Sweden. The appendix to the second volume is the well-known article “My Meetings with Roman Yakobson,” which is part of the third volume of memoirs not written by the author. The publication is illustrated and contains 316 photographs; some of them are published for the first time. The text is supplemented by 1673 notes and a personal index. Afterword by the editor of the publication, Mr. Serhiy Vakulenko.
