A frank and darkly humorous story about endurance, independence... and how good it is to wash your hair yourself!
When Jennette McCurdy first auditioned, she was just six years old. Jennett's mother dreamed of a stellar future for her daughter, and the girl was ready for anything just to make her mother happy.
After the success of the TV series "Aikarli", uninvited popularity fell on the girl. However, while her mother enjoyed communication with the paparazzi and moderators of fan clubs, Jennette suffered from anxiety, shame and hatred of her own body. Eventually, this led to eating disorders, alcohol addiction, and a series of unhealthy relationships. Shortly after they co-starred with Ariana Grande in Sam & Kat, the ICarly spinoff, Jennette's mom died of cancer and things took a turn for the worse.
After all, only after discovering psychotherapy and leaving acting, the girl began to return to a normal life and for the first time understood what she herself wanted.
