The action of the historical novel "Yeremiy Vyshnevetsky" covers nine important formative years in the life of the famous Ukrainian prince - 1632-1641. Fate was not kind to the young Yaremy: at the age of seven he lost his parents, and was raised in the family of a distant relative. Returning home after three years of foreign travels, the prince realized that he was one step away from disaster: his vast hereditary possessions on the Muscovite-Tatar borderland were threatened not only by influential relatives and neighbors, but also by sharp misunderstandings with the Cossack Sich and inevitable wars with the Moscow Kingdom and the Ottoman Empire. Will the hero overcome these challenges in difficult times, will he maintain the prestige of his declining House, or will he choose personal happiness in the cynical politics of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth of the 10th and 17th centuries?
