Yevhena Lysyk is a legendary artist, set designer, and long-time chief artist of the Lviv National Opera. The publication is the first collection of the master's set design canvases in an exclusive illustrated album that reflects the master's entire artistic journey.

The artist himself defined his work as follows: “I create design according to the principle of contrast: either everything – or I am silent.” Lysyk did not remain silent, despite the challenges of his time. He recreated music, painting, light, and the plasticity of theatrical action into symphony, creating an extremely emotional level of artistic image in each production.”
