The catalog album is dedicated to the outstanding theater artist and teacher Yevhen Lysyk (1930–1991), whose work became a significant phenomenon of Ukrainian and world culture.
Throughout his life, in particular, working as the chief artist of opera theaters in Lviv and Minsk, the artist created scenography for dozens of performances and developed his own creative style.
The catalog includes reproductions of the most outstanding graphic works of E. Lysyk from the 1960s-1980s. No less interesting and valuable component of the publication are memories-reflections about the artist. The artist and teacher Lubomyr Medvid deeply and expertly analyzes his work, the icon painter Ivanka Krypyakevich-Dymyd sincerely and talentedly shares her memories of Lysyk, the teacher, and, finally, the ceramist Anna Lysyk talks touchingly and directly about her father. Photo portraits of the artist significantly enrich the album.
For scientists, students of art institutions of higher education and a wide range of connoisseurs of Ukrainian culture.
