Jewish architectural heritage of Lviv

This monograph is a scientific study of the Jewish architectural monuments of Lviv from the 16th century. until 1939. It was created in the form of a scientific description and analysis of a cataloged and systematized array of recorded 440 architectural works. The selectivity of the 440 considered objects is justified by the scientific basis of the study, which uses the majority of available archival, literary and electronic sources, which is a representative selection of the Jewish architectural heritage. The monograph is structured in five blocks, according to the historical functional purpose of the buildings, with their numbering throughout. The obligatory name, address (then and now), time of construction, ownership, architect, historical stages of construction and current state include a stylistic and artistic analysis, as well as testimonials about institutions and famous people.
