Kyiv, 1968, the end of the Thaw. Yura - a physics student, a successful Komsomol leader, a promising novice scientist - falls into the grip of difficult circumstances and the hell of his own doubts: he needs to make a moral choice, and he feels that he is not ready for it. After all, his life is a kind of buffer between two worlds - on the one hand, the world of the "golden youth", the children of the secretaries of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine, and the KGB, and on the other hand, the world of his mother Klavka, who is one of those nameless and unheroic representatives the Ukrainian intelligentsia, who hold on their shoulders a powerful rear for the sixties.
The novel "Yura" is a sequel, that is, an independent continuation of the novel "Klavka" (2019).
