"From the dugout behind bars" is a collection of memories and reflections of Ukrainian soldiers who ended up in prison for various reasons and under various circumstances. The path of each of the authors was developed in its way, but all these people have something in common - with the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war, they took up arms and deliberately went to the East to defend their land. But the war was not enough for their lot, and in the life of each of these fighters came a day that turned the whole world upside down. They are sympathized with, supported, condemned, and despised - out of sight.
