"Notes of a Kuban Partisan" is a collection of the handwritten legacy of the famous Kuban chieftain Andrii Shkuro. Descendant of the Zaporozhian Cossacks. The commander of the particular Cossack unit in the First World War. Rebel chieftain. An ardent fighter against communism. A person who went through a difficult path of finding his own identity — from loyalty to the Moscow Empire to separate Cossack and Ukrainian identification. One of the organizers of Cossack units in the German army during World War II was eventually extradited and executed in the USSR.
