This is a unique book of Hutsul short stories, written in the 20s-30s of the 20th century by the writer and public figure Onufriy Manchuk.
There are a few sad pages here, but mostly cheerful ones, because this is how Hutsuls live and look, this is how Onufriy Manchuk saw. He left us his word for a smile, and for the pleasure of colorful stories, and from our conversation. Yes, because the short stories are written in the Hutsul dialect.
The fifth edition of "Zhybyiv Short Stories" is being published on the 125th anniversary of Onufriy Manchuk's birth by the "Brustury" publishing house.
