Residents of Kyiv

The book includes a selection of the most striking stories collected by the team of the local media "Residents of Kyiv" from 2016 to 2024. Our heroes share the stories of their Kyiv past and the vision of the capital today. This is a book about people who, by their example, inspire us to love the city, to be indifferent to changes and to accept its diversity: activists, volunteers, changemakers, socially responsible businesses, artists, journalists, cultural experts, street strangers, legendary residents.

The book consists of short stories and film portraits, and also has
brief historical references about various locations of Kyiv.

The city is created by people, from the youngest to the oldest, locals and visitors, accidental and not accidental, for some strangers, for some - our own. Each of us gives meaning to these streets. We are all residents of Kyiv.
