Star over Bethlehem

Agatha Christie wrote the stories for the collection “The Star Over Bethlehem” at a respectable age, having extensive life experience and a well-formed Christian worldview, as well as the fame of the queen of the detective genre. However, these are not detective stories, but at the same time not traditional Christmas stories. Six stories for family reading – about the birth of Jesus, His mother Mary, about His donkey, about His disciples and followers, as well as about Agatha Christie’s contemporaries – touch the depths of the soul and encourage reflection on many points. And they also bring light and hope. And they reveal an unexpected Agatha Christie to the readers of the first Ukrainian translation of this collection.
