The Golden Danube. Symbolism of Ukrainian songs

"Golden Danube" is the second book in the series "Golden Fleece" by a famous researcher of Ukrainian customs, in which the author, using the calendar principle, examines and analyzes the deep origins of Ukrainian song symbolism, the roots and codes of which lie in the very soul of Ukrainians, in the syncretism of the worldview mental and religious foundations of folk culture. The book presents about a hundred examples of folk songs with notes that give a comprehensive idea of ​​the archetypes of the mode-worldview spiritual existence of our ancestors, for whom the song was a daily prayer "over quiet waters, under clear stars".
