The Shores of the Twelve Waters

"The Shores of the Twelve Waters" is a book entirely dedicated to the reporting legacy of Oleksandr Maryamov, an extremely observant traveler, journalist, and screenwriter.

Readers will find here: several materials published at the time in the magazine "New Generation"; fragments of the unfinished report story about Odesa "Free Port"; a cycle of travel essays "Airports and Ports", where descriptions of Persia, where the author traveled by plane of the newly opened Kharkiv-Tehran line, occupy a prominent place; and most importantly, the travel report "The Shores of the Twelve Waters", the edition of which was destroyed, except for one copy, "the book is rarer than Fedorov's Primer", according to the author himself.
