"The Wild West of Eastern Europe" is the travelogue of a man who left his home to stay at home. The author's chronology of recent Ukrainian history. This is an attempt to summarize everything that has changed us and remained unchanged. The war plunged Ukraine into a debate about itself. We try to figure out where "they" end and "we" begins. We discover whether it is possible to deceive the historical logic and who to put on pedestals. "Wild West of Eastern Europe" is an attempt to systematize everything we argue about and everything we have managed to agree on.
This book was born out of occupation and war. And that's why she won't have a sequel. At least, this is what the author hopes for.
