London is the main city of Runway One, the third most populous province of Oceania. 1984, Julia Worthing works as a mechanic fixing novel machines in the Hoodlit Department of the Ministry of Truth. According to the ideology of Angsot, the ruling party and its leader Big Brother, Julia is a model citizen - cheerfully cynical, does not believe in anything and does not care about politics at all. She regularly breaks the rules, but also cooperates with the regime when necessary. Julia is loved by everyone because she knows how to survive in the world of constant surveillance by the Thought Police, spy children and the black markets of proletarian districts. She knows how to survive very well.
But Julia begins to be intrigued by Winston Smith, a colleague from the records department and a middle-ranking employee of the Outer Party. One day she impulsively slips him a note and realizes that she is losing control and can no longer feel safe in this world.
