The novel "Electra" by bestselling author Jennifer Saint is dedicated to one of her favorite heroines of ancient Greek mythology.
In this story, the main characters are three women: the wife of King Clytemnestra, her daughter Electra, and Agamemnon's concubine Cassandra. Clytemnestra cannot forgive her husband for the murder of Iphigenia, her eldest daughter, and seeks revenge. Electra is waiting for her father to return from the war against the Trojans, but she suspects her mother's bloody plans. Electra is unable to prevent the tragedy, but she understands that she cannot remain on the sidelines. The Trojan Cassandra, whom Apollo awarded with the gift of foresight, knows perfectly well what events are about to happen, but no one believes her predictions and she cannot save anyone.
This is a story about fate and retribution for sins committed.
