The publication is timed to mark the 100th anniversary of the death of Ivan Levinsky - a builder, entrepreneur, teacher, architect and public figure. The first part of the book is the materials of art critics, historians of architecture, who in their scientific research turn to various manifestations of Ivan Levinsky's activity and analyze them. The second part is a chronicle of the events of the Year of Ivan Levinsky, which popularized this topic in various ways: exhibitions, documentaries, interactive lectures, author tours, a scientific conference, children's programs, student practices. This publication contains rich illustrative material. Some archival documents are published for the first time.
