"Kulish's Romances" is a fictionalized biography of Panteleimon Kulish, illustrating how love relationships developed in his era. Most of the love stories described here do not happen in real life but in the fantasies of people who actively correspond. These are abstract, fictional, deformed, idealistic novels. These are stories of passions and renunciations, impulses and restraint, ardent passion, and silent silence.

Marko Vovchok appears as the heroine of one of these novels. And it was to her that V. Domontovych dedicated a separate, unfinished, but no less exciting biography, "The Silent Deity."
