"Naked one" is coming out of a mature man, hopeless both in the power of the poetic word and the power of the resurrecting spirit. Only the body remains. Mortal body. Nude. Naked one.
Yuriy Izdryk's comment from the official release of "Meridian Czernowitz": "The idea of organizing a full-fledged nude photo session (with unclear prospects - a photo exhibition? a photo album?) has been swirling in my head for a long time, probably 10 years. However, as it usually happens in life, everything came together just now - and the acquaintance with Nastya Telikova, a wonderful photo artist, and the offer of a new publication from MERIDIAN CZERNOWITZ - everything was assembled into the idea of designing a poetic photo album, borderline candid both textually and visually. The result was the book "Naked one". I don't think that against the background of the pandemic, the outrageousness of this project will cause any scandal (aesthetics still wins over outrage there); however, precisely in the situation of pandemic restrictions, "Naked one" will, I hope, remind of one of the most relevant libertarian slogans: "My body is my business." And besides (this is already a completely private option), "Naked one" is my metaphorical and at the same time quite literal fuck to this world. I have the right. Because it got me. Because 58+".
