Ken Liu is one of the most famous authors in American literature. He is a multiple winner of the Nebula, Hugo, World Fantasy, Sidewise and Science Fiction & Fantasy Translation awards, and has been nominated for Sturgeon and Locus awards. His short story "The Paper Menagerie" is the first ever work of fiction to win three prestigious Nebula, Hugo and World Fantasy Awards in one year. Ken Liu also translated Chinese science fiction writer Liu Qixin's novel The Three-Body Problem in 2015, which became the first translated work to win a Hugo Award.
