Transition

Yulia Batkilina's characters are modern Ukrainians living in a time of great unrest and great change. Among them are members of a conversation club where they practice the Ukrainian language, and an employee of a small company who is having a difficult time at home and at work. They are all very different, with their own problems, pains, and anxieties. They all find themselves at a crossroads at the very moment when the traffic light of life turns red and then yellow. There is time to look around and think about where to go next. To dare to take a decisive step. To make a choice about your own transition, whether it concerns language, relationships, political position, or freedom. And to stick to this choice, even if the majority does not see the difference.
