Budych's first cue. Book 3

This book of stories completes Anatoly Dnistrovoy's trilogy, the events of which take place in the fictional town of Budychi.
"Grey Payne", which is the first book of the trilogy, tells about the life of provincial bohemians - artists, actresses and poets. In "Ghosts" (the second book of the trilogy), the longing for creativity brings the protagonist to the city of his youth, where everything has changed beyond recognition.
The short stories and short stories included in the book "Budych's First Cue" continue to tell Budych's stories, their time-space extends from the mid-1980s to the present day. There is a gangster billiard room and its visitors of the late 1980s, provincial journalists and schoolchildren, eccentric intelligentsia, retired hermits...
It is with these temporal, worldview clashes that the author marks important moments of the transformation of Ukrainian society, gives us the opportunity to look into this or that era together with him.
