Maria Prymachenko is truly a Genius of Ukrainian art. It may now seem that there is nothing so unreal in her drawings, it may seem so because of the lack of context. Imagine that a person had almost zero "introspection" - Maria Oksentiyivna did not watch TV, did not collect cool art on Pinterest or Instagram, hardly hung out with other artists, and lived in a village, where there was not always electricity. And now look at her paintings again: everything you see was born inside a person, it is not references or inspiration from the works of other artists, it is something like the "inner eye". With this eye, she saw the world differently than we see it.
