After the Third Bell, Entry to the Hall is Prohibited

A collection of the brightest examples of short prose for three decades — from the most successful Ukrainian author. The reader will find here both recognized masterpieces, translated into many languages and staged on numerous European stages ("Alien", "Girl", "The Tale of the Viburnum Pipe"), as well as little-known youthful attempts of the writer in various prose genres. The book ends with a new story, just completed, in which the drama of misunderstanding between mother and daughter becomes a kind of summary of the history of an entire generation - "the generation of the postponed war".
